YETTI Sheepskin Rug

For everyday use Yetti is unbeatable, it has the stunning shaggy wool profile, which is very easily maintained, being hardwearing and a head-turning accompaniment in any household.
The sheepskin itself is super soft and the curl/kink is to die for! With Australian origins, this skin was originally developed back in the 1980's in Somerset by Fenlands an artisan tannery.
The rugs we sell at shows and markets, in store and online are tanned with the environment in mind, that means there is not chrome used in the process and there for all the skins are not machine washable. Sheepskins are naturally dirt and bacteria resistant because of the lanolin in the wool. A good tip to freshen up your sheepskin try using dry shampoo - spray a small amount on leave to dry and shake it out and hang on out on the line on a nice day. Please note that with Yetti wools you should avoid brushing as it will separate the curls.
With all rugs it is better to keep up than catch up, try not to let them get to fair down the line!
For our dyed rugs - Please avoid exposing them to strong and direct sunlight as this may result in the colours to change and / or fading.
