This weave is a modification of the original Vintage Star design by Melin Tregwynt, the inspiration came from early 18th Century Shaker weaving and the fabric displays the simplicity and bold reversibility of Shaker blankets.
All MT throws and blankets are finished with a simple hem so you can choose to display either side. Woven from 100% pure new Wool it feels very much like vintage Welsh fabrics, wool has warmth weight and breathability but is still practical and easy to care for.

For occasional cleaning of wool, it is best to do this by hand using cold or warm (not hot) water. Use a damp cloth or sponge with a very mild hand washing detergent (non-bio) that is suitable for washing wool (like little beau sheep wool wash). Try to avoid wool getting wet and dry slowly and naturally, away from direct heat, if it does.
